Turkish Family Dinner
Sometimes I can't believe how much I can eat. Well, this night my stomach was taken to a whole new level. Mindless eating, that's what it was. Why do we eat more than we think we can? But, I'm not going to blame myself I'm going to blame the whiff of Turkish delights...chicken...roasted vegetables...baklava (well, I was distracted by the sight of it). Seriously though, the powerful allure of food is well....powerful...
But eat food. Eat at Mangal's its super!

Jonathan Horowitz
I had no intention of liking Horowitz…this much. I had seen his work here, there and everywhere, and read an interview with him in Interview, who quite rightly regard him as the cleverest artist alive.
Anyway, this evening I decided to attend his private view. I walked into Mayfair's, Sadie Coles to find a candid elite artist hang out. Juergen Tellier was smoking indoors and Michael Stipe, who, by hastily approaching every piece, looked like he wanted to buy everything he saw.

Leonie
We confirmed our friendship making clothes for fairies and persuading everyone we knew, even my mother, that we were sisters.
We formed a band called LAND at the age of 7.
She has 3 amazing dogs, Rhani, Hiro and Rouge.
Her Blackberry cover is pure GLAM.

CURRY KNIGHTS
Curry Knights, was founded by Alex Jukes (Rogan Ravager) and Leo Gizzi (Captain Curry-geous) in January 2008.
My first Friday of the Month is dedicated to this food fest. We are normally, as quoted by the group's page, "A brave troupe of fearless spicy food fanatics that traverse the vast kingdom of Ealing in search for the holiest of grails; a banging curry. Uniting in force on the first friday of every month when their tastebuds are at their peak, these heroic adventurers test every curry house in the ghetto of ealing the only way they know how; one restaurant at a time."
It is embarrassingly true that I get ecstatic about such an event. But it is the whole concept. From, thinking of "Currified Names" like 'Dr Who and the Dhaaleks' and 'Aloo Aloo' to Jukes', to the, almost monthly, currified message and to debating why we are being charged £4.40 extra for no apparent reason (even when we include our tips).
Ideally, I would love a muesli club, but until I have one more member, other than myself, I am happy munching on poppadoms and disappointing everyone by not having cash but card to pay with. It seems to annoy just about everyone these days...the way I like to keep it as well.

Roll up Roll up!!!
The concept of 'Pop up's' are definitely a growing trend. Disused, abandoned, derelict and cast off urban spaces are being regenerated by the creative and artistic population. Tonight I would like to say that I gate-crashed the latest and perhaps most exciting Pop Up event yet to happen- Cineroleum.
A group of young architects, artists and designers transformed Clerkenwell's abandoned petrol station into a pop-up Cinema for the summer. I found this extremely inspiring- It's an idea that I always find myself questioning-why didn't 'I' up with that?! Temporary pop-boutiques allows artists and creatives to source new outlets.
Everything is hand-built from the paper tickets, chairs, curtains to the pop-corn!
